You didn't even watch it. But he did eviscerate his argument.RaceBannon said:Take that Dr IDZ

Doctor, “become a carnivore!”
I laffed at the thought of all vegetarians screaming NOOOOOOOOO! -
For some reason, humans have "canine" teeth and the forward facing eyes of a predator. Clearly needed to hunt down berries and seeds.46XiJCAB said:Doctor, “become a carnivore!”

Since the beginning of time men have had a pronounced brow because they were hunting game in the thicket, designed to protect the eyes. Women have the smooth brow, designed for gathering in the open. This is also an identifier that can come in handy for those still in search of a mate in todays world.WestlinnDuck said:

I don't trust any extreme diet. Vegans and carnivores can both fuck off.

Human beings were 99% carnivore for at least 1.5 million years. Chaffee's argument is that we're still carnivore and that many of our diseases that have gone way up the past 50 years are a direct result of the public being scared away from eating meat and consuming processed foods and plant materialFenderbender123 said:I don't trust any extreme diet. Lets go back a couple decades further to the mass vaccination agenda backed by the petroleum industry and "Science" and look at those numbers.DerekJohnson said:

Prior to that, people survived using plants for medicine and food for millennia.
Also,
Just to add a different view on 1.5 million years, Darwinism has a serious flaw (and I'll let you discover that on your own) but if you were to look at it from a creation standpoint, the first 2 humans started out as vegetarians but then became omnivores not carnivores.
Again, not here to debate for or against either argument, just stating that there is another viewpoint not presented.
Believe or dont.

Humans have an appendix which we haven't used in hundreds of thousands or millions of years, depending who you listen to. It was used to break down plant matter. We don't use it anymore and it became superfluous. Every single plant on earth has protective carcinogens.

I keep grazing to a minimum. I am a carnivore. A salad here and there and a few veggies is OK but meat is what I eat. I like bread but avoid it mostly. I absolutely have to have pasta and pizza occasionally.
I read an interesting article some years back. Archeologists had done a dig on a village in Europe. They went through the layers and the bones. When the village switched from hunter gatherer to agrarian they shrunk four inches in height! No thanks! -
The killer is carbohydrates aka sugar. And it doesn't matter if it is sucrose (cane and sugar beets) or fructose (corn, berries etc) . All quickly breakdown to glucose which is what the body burns for fuel. The quick breakdown overloads the bodies generation of insulin and the ability to use it. Eat protein or more complex carbohydrates and the body will burn fat while waiting to process the more complex foods. Sugars and simple carbs have only been available to most of the planet for a few hundred years. Honey was the basic sort of sweetness for Europeans until they got to the Caribbean. Average diet in Europe until very recently was usually sugar free. I don't think non-processed "plant material" is a real cancer problem. Spinach good. Creamed spinach at the steakhouse is delicious, but has some sugar from the lactose in the cream. Asparagus good. Asparagus with a hollandaise sauce at the steakhouse is delicious.DerekJohnson said:

The widespread adoption of agriculture led to greater numbers of humans, but a decline in the overall health of the population. Repetitive use injuries and tooth decay, among other things. Life expectancy dropped dramatically.Sledog said:I keep grazing to a minimum. I am a carnivore. A salad here and there and a few veggies is OK but meat is what I eat. Meat has the two things necessary for growth - calcium and protein. Same thing happened when Asians with a rice diet and little protein came to the US and significantly increased their protein consumption. Significant increase in heightSledog said:I keep grazing to a minimum. I am a carnivore. A salad here and there and a few veggies is OK but meat is what I eat. I like bread but avoid it mostly. Women also have smaller feet to allow them better access to the sink and stove. It's science!
