    ASU's defense is terrible.

I don't know about by far because they are a flawed team, but I agree. Best QB in the South, and the best coach. If their young defense improves as the season moves along, they are the best team in the South. UCLA is not very good, and USC is coached by Sark.

Hopefully he's back to plunger Sark in time.

Jim Mora Jr would like to have a talk with you over a nice slice of cake pie.
Jim Mora has never proven to be anything better than an above average to good college coach. He also has some Sark in him when praising his players and fielding disciplined teams. On Hundley, "I can tell you unequivocally he's a first-round pick. He will be a star in the NFL." If he's going to be a star in the NFL, why does he play badly so often? I've tried to convince myself that I'm missing something because so many here are huge Mora supporters, but I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe a dynasty is underway at UCLA. Mora and UCLA are incredibly lucky that Pat Haden is USC's AD.

A lot has changed since 2007. I would have been happy with Mora replacing Sark (obviously), but I believe Petersen was a better hire. Mora would have had some good teams at UW, but I think Petersen has a higher ceiling at UW.

I actually agree on Petermen but Petermen has a larger body of work. This is in fact, only the start of Mora's third season as a college head coach. So far he hasn't done anything but build that program up. I know a lot of folks think UCLA will disappear this year, but we need to let it play out
