DeSantis is much more polished and comes off much better and more credible for those in the middle to middle right. He lacks the "Wow say anything" factor that some of the more excitable sectors prefer; but he comes off much more credibly as a hard conservative who is in control of himself. He's a little fat, but then again so is Don. And DeSantis has electable hair.

Agreed, and DeSantis will be able to attract some quality people to work in his administration. Trump is toxic and if he appoints you, then you have to deal with Trump and probably get indicted.
