I had to google UW Defensive Coordinator.

One of the shittiest defense ive seen in a while.
For any high level football people, was it a coaching issue at all? Or player issue? Or all of the above.
Is Kalen shooting himself in foot keeping him around?

Thank REAL god we’re back to Xs and Os.

Inge calls the plays from what I've read.

People seem to prefer it's high risk/high reward style over Kwait's bend-don't-break, especially after the Alamo Bowllongduckdong said:Chuck Morel (sp)

Morrell/Inge D needs a better secondary than what Lake left, which is why they got 6 CBs this last cycle (1 transfer, 1 JUCO, 4 HS)
We should have a better idea of their ability as coaches this season -
I was near the tunnel. I know what I saw. You have no idea what it’s like if you weren’t there. Trust me, emotions are raging. You just wouldn’t understand unless you have the same access and we’re there. I was.

When the defense is going great… it’s all Inge. Not so great… Morrell. That’s what us bipolar fans like to do

Couldn't create turnovers, couldn't cover anyone.
Even with Trice giving QBs pressure nearly every throw, they found someone. The secondary barely needed to hang on and they still were the worst in the country.
Perryman not living up to the hype hurt. We've been spoiled with two lockdown corners almost every year since Pete/Lake arrived, and we dropped to zero year 1 of Deboer.
The good news is they can't be worse than last year. Also Okie State's transfer should give at least 1 anchor to build around that will allow for more safety help to the guy opposite of him.
With the entire front 7 returning in what should be an elite pass rush and improved LB play, if the secondary isn't at least top half of the conference in coverage, someone needs to get canned. -
The body type they need doesn't fit what they recruited for for years.Doogles said:Couldn't create turnovers, couldn't cover anyone.

Factor in terrible depth.
Even with that, the defense improved in November, nails in the 4th quarter and peaked in the bowl game.

You have to freshman corners coming in that have to be as good as Trufant was as a true freshman. Muhammad is the real deal. LIPODoogles said:Couldn't create turnovers, couldn't cover anyone.

The D improved steadily all of last season and I believe they finished #2 in the Pac when all was said and done. That was rehashing a D with serious roster issues. I'll be curious to see how it pans out.
