Dude was supposed to fly out earlier but decided to stay longer than he usually did. The bear that killed them was new to the area they were usually camping in.

I watched the documentary on him. He’d been warned by Rangers and natives but I guess he thought he was a bear whisperer.

They had to autopsy the bear to make sure it was the killer and not just scavenging. Pretty gruesome when you consider it ate 2 humans nearly completely.
