    Do kids like this ever work out? USC had one like this recently. Don’t remember him being any good.

    They rarely do. I was reading an article about Nebraska in the 90’s. The recruits that they had to really fight for rarely panned out.

    I’m sure there are outliers, but head case recruits turn into head case players. Ale Kano was one of those guys at UW.

    I was concerned when UW emerged as a contender for his services, i'm all for playing the players, but it's gotta be merit based to some extent.

    It's not like this guy was the consensus #1 recruit (like Ewers when he got his big payday from tOSU, who still transferred and has been ok so far, needs to break out next year or he's a bust).
