And we care why?AOG said:Russia is passing more severe laws about discrediting the armed forces. If you criticize you can wind up in jail for years. If you are in jail you can voluntarily join the armed forces since the government is recruiting now in addition to or in place of Wagner. This seems to be an enterprising way to bolster the dwindling ranks. Then you are sent on suicide missions which basically average 70 percent casualties. All of this is done to make an oversized country larger.

This is opinion,
From the link...key word "may" leverage an amendment.
"The Kremlin may leverage an amendment to Russia’s Criminal Code increasing punishments for "discrediting" the war in Ukraine to promote further self-censorship measures among the critical ultranationalist community, prompting pushback from Wagner financier Yevgeny Prigozhin and prominent milbloggers."
If you post something as fact that it is happening and don't cite a source with it, it's very sus!
When it turns out that you misrepresented the article you lose all credibility whether it was unintentional or intentional

Fine open up drilling and kill their economy

Exactly right. Sanctions aren’t the way to go, just flood them out with supply.Goduckies said:Fine open up drilling and kill their economy

I’m told Russia is about to crumble, but also that they’re about to take over Europe
I can’t handle the ups and downs of the MIC propaganda -
If you read the totality of sources, it is going to happen probably... anyway, it already is illegal to "discredit" and also to get out of jail early to fight as a "volunteer" ... the point is that in Russia if you criticize, you could wind up right in the middle of the target of your criticismBlueduck said:This is opinion,

I have no problem with the page at face value.
You can take away from it what you will but you cannot inject your opinion and takes from the piece and import them here as fact.
If you poast a link, I will read it without prejudice and formulate my own opinion based on the piece.

Yup, so keep your mouth shut or reap the consequences.... sucks, but it is what it is... maybe try to escape and talk against it from another country.Bob_C said:

We have J6th prisoners in a DC gulag and the left is fine with it. Remember these are the same people who lost their shit over putting terrorists in Gitmo. The parade of DIM Pols down there is well documented.RaceBannon said:Heal yourself AOG

Wagner Group financier Yevgeny Prigozhin makes more sense than Kremlin cronies on this, says they should have free speech to criticize, also I hate to say it but he their entire offense too
