    I don't really know much about this case, but the guy moved to Romania and now we're surprised that some crazy, corrupt stuff is happening to him?

    He's not supprised at all. In fact, he called it before hand.

    IIRC, in his view Romania was a less corrupt local. Or easier to deal with the corruption rather.
