    I’ve said in numerous posts to PGOS that Joey could be a peacemaker but his ego and thirst to “take out” Putin means more Ukrainian children must die.

    PGOS arguments aren't much stronger

    We are fighting Russia practically for free because we don't have boots on the ground
    He guarantees no tactical nukes will be used by Putin if backed into a corner and Crimea is about to fall
    We are backing the heroic Ukrainian people versus one of history's monsters.
    After taking all of the Ukraine, Putin will reconstitute the Soviet Union 2.0 taking back Poland, Hungary, East Germany, the Balkans and the Baltics. (Soviet Army in 1980 = 5.3 million < Russian Army in 2022 of 1.2
    million.
    As Team America, World's Police, we have a moral obligation to fight Putin in a European proxy war while the rest of NATO has almost 10 times the resources of Russia
    Outside of a moral purity argument, we get no recital of actual substantive benefits to US citizens. I just bought a 25 lb bag of lawn fertilizer for $30 bucks, up $20 since pre-covid.

    He does. So do lots of people. Unlike when Saddam invaded Iraq, we did have a huge national interest. Oil. Trump and an American energy industry was making the US energy independent.
