    I've also watched live jazz performances in Le Caveau de la Huchette in the Latin Quarter of Paris. During the German occupation during World War II, they outlawed jazz. So this underground lair with a history going back centuries, became a place to experience jazz clandestinely.

    Oldest "structure" I can recall is probably the remnants of a foundation on Hawaii. That or some of the original stuff in Philadelphia where those unwoke white racists founded our country.
