Facts are pesky things
Gas appliances are far more common in higher-income households than in low-income households.
And yet childhood asthma is almost twice as common in low-income households. -
China literally owns the American left (and RINOs like Cocaine Mitch), not just the dementia patient. We have any Tug leftards that ever express any concern over the chicoms? They all voted for a bought and paid for Cho Bai Den and seem happy with the results. Knee cap US oil and gas production to "save the planet" while expressing no concern over the massive coal investments the chicoms are making. Fow Chee and the CDC paying the chicoms to make the covid virus in a substandard bio lab in Wuhan and we get nothing out of the American left except to blame Trump.

Gas stoves are much more common in the west and northeast and not nearly as common in the south.
Childhood asthma rates are lower in the west and midwest and high in the south and northeast.

Lefties have learned to trust a study funded by a group that has an agenda and money to make, while the rest of us can maybe look further into this issue.

When I was in grade school in the 60s, we had one kid in our elementary school that I knew had asthma. On my son's soccer team in the 90s we had three kids using an inhaler before each match. My view is that our kids are being raised in an indoor environment with little exposure to germs. We have triple paned windows which are always closed with sealed and insulated walls and ceilings and the kids don't get out much to play in the dirt. My kids were outside as much as possible and were raised with a cat who used to sleep in their cribs from day one.hardhat said:Gas stoves are much more common in the west and northeast and not nearly as common in the south.

I missed the part where brave lefties questioned how encasing a room in airtight plastic simulates a real life kitchen environment.
All of the studies that reached this 'conclusion' used this method. Coincidence? -

What I do is I turn the overhead intake fan on.
Potential problem solved and I don’t have to go buy one of these useless induction ranges that cannot cook at high temps.
Because I’m not a moron.
Natural gas is reliable and can be cheap, absent government meddling in the market, which is what they are clearly trying to do here. Why the fuck are we trying to create MORE need for electricity? Electric cars, electric stoves, etc etc.
We simply do not have the grid to support 10% of what’s being proposed. Why are we outsourcing our power grid needs to China? This is insanity.
I have yet to talk to a single person that is in favor of this lunacy. -
Leftists love juke science when they can make a buck and save the world at the same time.
Why does the GOP hate asthmatic children? -

So the government can coerce your behavior through a social credit system by assessing fines when you think the wrong thoughts, and say "sorry, not enough points for electricity tonight. Try again tomorrow, comrade." -

Gosh I wonder how deadly it would be if you put all the smoke into a plastic sealed area with zero ventilation?TurdBomber said: -
I remember walking to kindergarten 3/4 mile in rain, snow or whatever with maybe 2 or 3 other kids. Nobody cared. This was the mid 80s. I was left alone in summers starting between 4th and 5th grade. The only semi enforced rule was be home before dinner and ask if a friend could come over, or if I was going to eat dinner at a friend's. I played in the dirt with toy Grand Ams and climbed trees.. Nowadays these helicopter Karen's have faggy play dates. One of my exes checked in on her 14 year old daughter who was house sitting. I told her she's fine, leave her alone. But that stuff is normal now...WestlinnDuck said:

Today, your five year old would be picked up by the cops and sent to Child Services.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:
