Man the covid years were fucking stupid

And Portland and really the entire West Coast went full on stupid. Our fascists decided to wreck small business, lay off over 20 million in the US, defund the police, support riots and property destruction and then subsidize homeless and drug use. Worked out great. The irony is that their probably isn't one conservative working for a Seattle or Portland paper and they all voted for this sh*t.

When your choice for Mayor came down to Ted Wheeler or an Antifa Commie, you know your city is lost. I don't go to Portland anymore, I drive through it. It's a cesspool. The plumbers ass of the WC. Buffalo is more appealing. Unfortunately a lot of those dumbass liberals are moving to SW WA and bringing their same stupid shit politics with them.

"Nobody knows why families left the Seattle schools in droves. (Nobody asked them.) It’s the same with people now moving out of formerly superstar cities like Portland. The main driver has got to be that housing and other costs are too high. But it’d be blind not to acknowledge — as Portland now appears to be doing — that the quality of life in the city has plunged as well."

    Lol sure.

People will pay a high price for nice things but then they expect to own a nice thing. Crime, homelessness, filth, graffiti, boarded up windows and closed businesses are not nice things. Hope that helps.
