So a little @creepycoug dead board inflation hawt talk. The Dick's cheeseburger has long been the Yella CPI and in the mid 90's when I got to UW, a cheeseburger was $.85 and now they are $2.75. But according the the CPI calculator a cheeseburger at Dick's should only be $1.63. Something is fucky.
I haven't been to McDonalds in years but looking at door dash they want 12 bucks for a Royale with Cheese and fries and a drink

When I used to have to go to Renton for work, the family would ask that I stop at Dick's on the way home. Would get a huge bag of burgers and fries (which are the best) - fed 4-5 of us for cheap. Plus I would eat one and a bag of fries on the way home.

our resident bleached anus isn't the only person I've met who's agreed with me on this IRL. I don't have beef with In n Out. I heard about it so fucking much that the first time I had access to one I sped to it greatly looking forward to this much-ballyhooed cheeseburger, probably my favorite shit food. It was good, of course. Nobody's telling the truth if they say it sucks. Of course it doesn't suck. It's an honest cheeseburger. It can't suck. But honestly it was, as the anus says, just ok or just middle of the road "good". It was fine, but not nearly up to the hype. In fact, same spot in Phoenix had a Fudruckers across the street. I went there the next day for a superior burger. Would still a Five Guys over In n Out any day.
Dicks, as you said, is slightly different product. It's like a food truck.
