Just heard a great quote from Morgan Freeman

I now have a lot of respect for him.

A white reporter was asking Freeman why he is against Black History Month.

Freeman said why is my race's history relegated to one month? Which month are you celebrating White History?

The perplexed white reporter then says, "Well how are we going to get rid of racism?"

Freeman says "stop talking about it. I'm not going to refer to you as a white man and I'd like it if you would stop referring to me as a black man."

Way late to the gayme on this one. The interview was with Mike Wallace over ten years ago.

Michael Jackson had it right in the 80's with his black or white song. Sadly Obama and the Democrats couldn't have us be united as a country as far as race so he decided to gas light. He could have been the greatest ever, being known for ending racism in this country... but no.

FTR, that song was off the Dangerous album which I believe came out in 91. Trying my best to not use Google like Pup the oracle.

If the democrats knew how to fight inflation they wouldn't need the race card as their big issue

Yes he could have come out and said look America, even a Black man can be president now. It's time to come together as one nation once for all and put race behind us. He choose the opposite and pushed race relations back 50 years for political gain. Fuck him
You folks *really* disliked him. Sadly for you, no one believes what you said is the real reason.

Yeah, I hate anti-american POS who was a marxist Black liberation theorists and who hung around with terrorists like Bill Ayers. Seems like a real reason to me. I also hate the dementia patient for pretty much the same reason. On the other hand have a great deal of respect for Thomas Sowell and Dr. Ben Carson. Why did you vote an anti-american POS, mello? Don't hurt yourself.

FYI Obama is half white so he's just as white as he is black. He's all communist though. I despise him. Anti-American POS. He did massive damage to our nation weaponizing government agencies against the population and political opponents.

Yes if he made the US come together as a country for race he would have been. Alas he has other ideas.

Who do you think has more of impact on young black men, barry or the hip hop culture? barry made one adventure into dealing with the problems facing blacks and it was mentioning the out of wedlock black birthrate. He got creamed for doing so and didn't deal with this issue again. Then, barry likes and encouraged hip hop in the White House.

Depends, a president can have a big platform if they choose to use it.

It does depend. And the success rate depends on common ground and there is zero common ground between a garden variety dem and me. Sure, a dem family may care about their family. They don't care about my family or inner city black families. A dem with a BLM sign in their yard is just encouraging more dead black kids. A dem open border supporter supports fentanyl deaths. They might say they don't, but the policies they vote for and encourage means more death. I have no interest in running mello's life, but he has a great interest in running mine. What common ground does Fow Chee or Cho Bai Den (the wannabe unifier) have with me? Fow Chee thinks I'm anti-science and the dementia patient thinks I'm QAnon and my speech should be suppressed and guns taken away. I think they are both anti-American POS fascists. They have no evidence to support their views and I actually have lots of evidence supporting my views. You think Trump was going to get Mello to support any common sense political solution?

Shit he did with the IRS was one of the counts they had against Nixon.
