Her posture is to not overcount covid deaths now as they will skew heavily towards vaccinated. Her story changed but the priority did not.

The overcounting was in large part done by the hospitals. Covid deaths earned them much more money than non-Covid deaths. No surprise that all deaths that had Covid were automatically classified as Covid caused.
The left never argued, because it fed into their story. -
