I have never been to a Waffle House.
I worked at Reed College for a summer when I was in HS and used to stop by the Hot Cake House. Probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had.
Beth’s in Seattle is overrated.
Portage Bay is very good

One patronizes Beth's to see line cooks prepare breakfast while drunk, high as a kite or on an acid trip. -

Anyone in PDX remember Quality Pie? Only went there one time- back in 92 when I took my brother after his daughter was born. Outstanding breakfast IIRC but not the cleanest place.
