I'm so embarrassed

Grim outcome
-
They could've accomplished this without the public infighting.
Don't conflate the process with the outcome. -
Lots of ball gargling and shilling going on here. Mello and HH levels.

Bob, I didn't pay much attention to the whole process and haven't read any analysis. In your opinion, did conservatives get a good deal? I kept seeing pundits like Mark Levin bitching how stupid the 20 were and how they needed to get on board with McCarthy right away. This is the same guy who hated Trump with a passion, pushed Ted Cruz hard and then loved Trump.

Well Trump was a middle of the road former Democrat, can you blame anyone for not trusting him at first?RoadTrip said:Bob, I didn't pay much attention to the whole process and haven't read any analysis. LIPO, the rules package vote starts today
-
The media is also in full throat that the GOP shouldn't waste time impeaching Biden
It would be a waste of time but they cheered TWO wastes of time on Trump including when he was no longer in office fuck em -

The media is in full on 'embarrassment to democracy' mode, too.RaceBannon said:The media is also in full throat that the GOP shouldn't waste time impeaching Biden

"We" need to go back to House of Commons style arguing on matters instead of passing bills in the dark of night.
IDNGAF if they actually 'impeach' Biden because it's clearly not going to pass the Senate. But I DO GAF about full on investigations into the Bai Den Crime Family and all their alleged misdeeds.
And if a few swamp monsters/deep staters die in the process, so be it.

I think the Conservatives got a great deal out of this process. We'll know for certain when the budget and debt ceiling fights play out.
-
Haven't followed Levin for awhile, but he certainly was a fighter versus status quo swamp creature. The only leverage the 20 had was to embarrass McCarthy who deserves to be embarrassed. Last think this country needs is another Boehner or Paul Ryan. With out the pressure, where was the McCarthy train going? Why get on board a train to nowhere?RoadTrip said:Bob, I didn't pay much attention to the whole process and haven't read any analysis. In your opinion, did conservatives get a good deal? Just need to show some patience and let the votes be counted for two weeks. But voting for four days for the Speaker is beyond the pale and a "circus". When you have lost Brett Baier you have lost the cucks. Apparently, if you are a cuck like mello, that's a big concern. I'll hard pass. And then the left just assumes that conservatives are just like the left but have a different hive mind. Look, Trump told you to vote for McCarthy and dammit why are you still asking for stuff? Trump is losing the base or has lost it. Looks totally lost and ineffectual.

Governors have an advantage. DeSantis may have been asked about it but I didn't see it
Trump is all over the map and he is done. DeSantis keeps doing stuff in Florida that the base likes
The only issue for DeSantis or Noem is that they just got reelected and now its time to campaign
Which will be met with horror by the narrative
And of course they are racist. And fascist
