Actually, the official dazzler position is he is an economic conservative who voted twice for Reagan and it is the republicans who have moved left (true) and that forced the dazzler later in life to vote for socialist/commie dems because they were the more fiscally responsible alternative. According to our life long conservative/mythical MBA, Reagan would not be conservative enough to be a part of the modern republican party.georgiaduck said:

I haven't been paying close enough attention to do anything but laugh about this, but generally if you're gonna run a vote in public you should have your votes counted, first, to not be embarrassed. In real life, people need to be punished for lying to their constituency. Kevin McCarthy has been lying to the republican base for most of his career. A week ago, McCarthy could have cut a deal with the conservative base and been elected by a unanimous republican House. He didn't. This just after rolling over on the Omnibus bill. In a vacuum, nothing changes. No votes, no political pressure, McCarthy and the conservatives both remain intransigent. Have some votes and McCarthy is embarrassed politically. McCarthy tried to call it as a bluff. It wasn't. Looks like he is cutting a deal right now, finally. I agree, he could have saved himself the embarrassment. McCarthy isn't my team. I'm not embarrassed. Is McCarthy your team? Open borders, huge spending on Ukraine but not on our borders.
