    Balloons, streamers and party hats. We will continue to fight a war based on one group succeeding, including massive failures within our intelligence community which could have prevented it.

    We continue to fight an unwinable war. Maybe one president will actually step up and admit it and place the massive expenditures in both lives and $ back into the United states instead of the middle east.

    Anyone who thinks we'll stop every threat is naive. At some point someone else will get through, but it doesn't mean we should start 4 more wars(air or otherwise).

    Mccain was right about the length, they are all wrong that we should continue down this path.

    My point is McCain spoke an unpopular truth and was mocked and ridiculed by Obama and Clinton. Obama ran on a promise to end the war. People naively believed him without looking at the facts and what McCain was saying.

    All politics.

    And the media should stop describing these wars separately. It's one war on multiple fronts. The truth is we never left Iraq after 1992

    It was Iraq violating terms of the 1992 surrender that caused Clinton to bomb them. People forget that Clinton bombed Iraq and said they had WMDs.

    People forget that the Iraq war part deux electric boogaloo had 80% approval when it started.

    Obama is under 40% now so he launches this half assed deal to get people off his back so he can get back the the golf course

    We still have troops in Germany and Japan for fucks sakes. We are NATO - we still have Russia surrounded.

    Secure our own border so these bastards don't sneak in. Profile the hell out of any Arab who wants to travel to the US. Revoke citizenship for radical imams and Islamists in the US. Total ban on Arab immigration to the US. They can go to Europe, Europe is fucktarded and wants them. Airstrikes on ISIS paid in full, with interest, from the surrounding Arab countries. Weapons and minimal ground support paid in full, with interest, from Arab governments who have an interest in toppling ISIS. Heavy weapons to Israel with a view to striking and destroying Iran's nuclear program as soon as possible. Diplomatic/economic punishment to any country that supports ISIS/Hamas/Al Qaeda.

    At some point, SOMEONE, from one side or the other will be able to explain to me how countries who actually are within realistic target range of these idiots are bailing on our "coalition". Obviously they don't feel the fear we do for how powerful this threat is.

    Obviously a few things stand out.

    1) They are calling our bluff knowing our bullshit politics will prevent us from admitting that we can't prevent every terrorist attack.
    2) They all realize that it's like going down to the local trailer park and assuming that if we intervene and provide counseling that all of a sudden people will stop sucking back OE 40's and retreat from beating the shit out of their families
    3) As the trend has continued the last 20 years, United states citizens are blind to the fact that the REAL welfare recipients are the countries that fully know we will front the cash, the lives, the equipment and everything else in between b/c we don't have the balls to say no. Basically, we're janay rice. Keep going back for more fully knowing we are fighting an unwinnable battle.
    4) Oh yeah, these fucking idiots have been killing each other since BEFORE WE WERE A FUCKING COUNTRY. Why the fuck do you think we are going to stop them or convince someone of an undefinable truth that has been absent the past 2k years? Look at me Roar.....
