Agreed. But there's something about a Baird endorsement that makes me pretty fucking uneasy.
That man is catastrophically stupid. -
Baird will support the coaching regardless ...
But at the same time, Baird's also spot on right here. -
Dick Baird is your source?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Or something like that...Tequilla said:Baird will support the coaching regardless ...

Baird's position is consistent at least - support the current coaching staff at all costs and always pick the Huskies to win - even if they are playing the 85 Bears

Baird would put a positive spin on bringing Ty back.guntlove said:Agreed. But there's something about a Baird endorsement that makes me pretty fucking uneasy.

While I agree Baird is pretty much an ignorant doog, at least he is qualified to give his opinion on what Don James would do in this situation.
At least more qualified than the LPT and SoDawgFS...
The passive-aggressive shots those guys are taking are really not very thinly veiled.

I might be the only one, but I like Baird.BiggusDickus said:Baird's position is consistent at least - support the current coaching staff at all costs and always pick the Huskies to win - even if they are playing the 85 Bears

He wasn't drunk today and didn't sound hangover either. He actually was on his game today.

Baird supporting the coach. Straight outta the script.

If you're attacking drunkeness, I'm out.sarktastic said:He wasn't drunk today and didn't sound hangover either. He actually was on his game today.

Baird is as reputable a source on Husky football as Mike Leach is on clock management.

I support 'soberness' during media interviews ... unless of course it's done in a Joe Namath sort of way.Passion said:

Baird's endorsement of Peterman's decision brought to you by:

Baird has zero credibility when it comes to commenting on the radio, TV, or internet about coaching. He'll never be critical of it. If you weren't critical of Ty until game 6 of 2008, you can take any comment about a Husky coaching staff and shove it up your pee hole.

Baird is fine on talent evaluation. He was a pretty good recruiting coordinator and evaluator. That is all.
