I never got the main knock on him coming out of college which was that his motor was poor/he didn’t care enough about football. Dude had a bad foot sprain in the opener last year and could have easily packed it in for the year without falling in the draft (he already had plenty of tape). I did like how genuinely the TSIO guys hated Strausser and Pease. Looks like Pease is the WR coach at Montana now. Perfect for the guy who just wants to hunt and fish and not recruit. I thought the deal with Strausser was he was actually a really good coach but he'd rather be slaughtering animals than recruiting.

I seem to remember that people thought Pease was a dick and disliked by the players. I never heard anything like that with Strausser. Like you said he just wouldn't recruit. -

i think talent is the issue. they had one of the better olines in the league couple of years ago when chris was the coach
