My thoughts on the Alamo Bowl MVP Award
Really, the award should have gone to either the offensive line, defensive line or perhaps J-Mac.

You won't just say it should have gone to Taulapapa. It sucks for Penix. Kwiatkowski in basically a road game was the worst thing he could have drawn maybe other than Georgia. Kwiat had the athletes to force UW to just dink and dunk and hand off for 3-7 yards every play and begged them to throw deep and they couldn't resist. Not even negadooging it was not a great game for him
Fittingly though, his best throw of the night was the strike to Odunze for a long TD where the Texas DB wisely just grabbed Odunze's shoulder pads and took the the flag but the refs somehow didn't flag it. -

Yep. He fought for extra yardage and fell forward all night. That was critical for moving there chains while passing faltered.coach_pete_JPG said:

He basically was a poor man's Chris Polk. -
