    I’ve gone back to the 80s when I neither knew or cared about college football recruiting and the whims of entitled 17 year olds.
    Back then you might hear about a guy or two but that was mostly between Texas schools like Eric Dickerson or SEC schools where the religion goes back decades

    As a Husky fan a in state high school kid would get some notice and a small article when they signed and that was about it.

    Sports Washington was the pre internet magazine that got the recruiting business going for UW fans

    Now its quite the business and still no one knows anything

    Too many "this guy is the second coming of Bo Jackson" only to find out they play like Bo Diddley for me. I watch the games. That's the extent of my interest these days.
