This is the biggest news we’ve had so far from the players who were on the fence about staying or leaving(other than Penix).

I wasn't really worried about him but I still agree. Losing both tackles would be crushing. Losing one would suck. They're both crazy good.
    Rosengarten was never leaving

I would much rather play at UW than the XFL. Seriously where was he going to go?

He’s a legit NFL prospect if not quite a high-end pick. He would have gotten picked this draft though, he’s going to test well.

Neither was Fataunu. There was some early chatter about the possibility, but someone looked at where they'd fall in the draft and shut it down pretty well.

The only point I meant to make was that both of them coming back was big. They're two of the best players.

The list that said he was the 262nd player is bullshit. He’s a NFL player right now.

    Agreed.

    I don't argue with @TheList though.

I think this is an underrated non couch sale and not in the line of a certain school who has held press conferences for borderline UDFA's to "announce" they're returning to school. Someone said Fautanu was 10th on Kiper's board for guard or just interior OL and that feels right and is enticing to go to the league. I think people are underplaying the bigger picture with declaring for the draft which is getting to your second contract when you make your real money a year earlier than you do if you come back to school. Also just wanting to go be a pro and not sit around another year in a college town, which is why Seattle is nice for that.

I didn't watch him very much. Rosengarden was amazing as a RSFR but was Troy a big deal or just good to have a solid tackle returning?

Kiper had him as OG #5 so there's that.

Troy was our best OL last year. He was so good he pushed our previous starting All Pac-12 LT to LG
Good point. I thought that might be more of an indictment on Kirkland
