LBJ wanted to be president and JFK had stated he was going to defund and shut down the CIA. He said we couldn't have secret societies working in the shadows. JOFK had also said that when he ran for his second term, LBJ would be removed from the ticket. So the United States government reportedly had JFK killed.

    After seeing how JFK is revered as a martyr to this day there was no way to risk killing Trump and having that happen. Very smart just to ruin him and everyone around him.
