However they made the mistake of humiliating Clinton and Obama in front of the globe by picking Qatar instead of the US. Amazingly enough soon after the FBI starts investigating, indict a bunch of underlinings at FIFA but not the main guy, “recover” and give FIFA ~$200MM, and magically the US was awarded the 2026 World Cup soon after.
