Some years ago my brother in law got me one of those hipster douche bag, saftey razor sets. I don't care for the old timey brush and shaving soap part of it. But fuck if those single blade safety razors don't get you the closest shave possible. There's an art to it so you don't cut yourself and I still have to run a March 5 if the whiskers get too long. Also, you can buy like a 100 made in the USA blades for like $15.00.

I'm a Lumbersexual or a "bear" with a beardHead shears with no spacer for my head and most of my beard. GF is not a fan, as it's scratchy as fuck and mottled grey/brown kind of like a brindle. It isn't pretty.
All about my own comfort anymore. I don't like how my skin feels when I shave properly. -

My barber is a big, fat Jack Duck. Sweetheart of a guy and does a solid jerb. Even does the straight razor neck beard trim.
At any rate, we talk a loft of CFB, Ducks, Huskies, Beavers, etc usually but at the my appointment yesterday (first after BONEM) I didn't say a word about sports. Finally we get the end of the cut, and he's says I'm amazed that you didn't say one thing about the game. My response was I'm classy as fuck and I like to act like I've been there. He chortled. -

I use safety razor at home and multi-blade razor when I'm traveling. Changing up works best for me.
I would like to try a straight razor, but haven't gotten around to it yet. -
