Yeah if Deboer has proven anything it's that he knows how to have a productive offense wherever he is, so that's not too big of a concern.
He took a Husky midget reject and turned him into a heisman candidate at Fresno. That's two portal success stories he can point to if he needs a QB.
Outside of Penix, he grabbed his leading rusher from the portal and some other productive pieces. Guys developed and looked better throughout the year.
Of course there are holes from Lake's forgotten years, but the new transfer era is designed to plug them.
A world does exist where both UW and Oregon are quality programs. You're quookin betting against the 89-11 head coach vs the rookie who lost two rivalry games by not punting inside his 30. -
