Did I say that? No. I just proved you talk out of your ass ALL of the time. Comparing Clemson to Columbus just proves you’ve never been out of your section 8 housing before, completely different worlds.PasadenaHuskyFan said:

All these programs suck or are mediocre despite being near nfl teams. So I just don’t think it matters. Most elite college football programs are not in big cities (Norman, Tuscaloosa, Tallahassee, Clemson, Ann Arbor, Colombus)
It is the core city of the Columbus, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses ten counties. The metropolitan area has a 2020 population of 2,138,926,
Ohio State gets kids because the people in Columbus fucking care about winning (always have) and they don’t have a bunch of Blue-Hair Head Shaved Dikes walking around talking about toxic masculinity 24/7
Pasadena is a shithole btw, only place in LA without hot women smh.

I lived in the metro area of columbus, it is much larger in total area than many west coast metropolitan cities, but it’s built differently there.dnc said:
Ten counties? Holy shit. Ten counties is a huge geographical area for one "metro area".theLSkid said:

Expansion is easier, they expand out, not up, in the Midwest.

City populations are meaningless. Boston proper has 684,379 people, Miami has 454,279. Both are multiple times larger than Columbus.whatshouldicareabout said:
The city of Columbus is 914,000 whereas Cleveland is 377,000, Cincinnati is 307,000, and Toledo is 269,000.dnc said:

Also, counties are much smaller and more numerous east of the Rockies. There are 88 in OH vs 39 in WA. -
Former Ohio kid here. There are 88 counties in Ohio which is itself a much smaller state than Washington. The counties are relatively tiny compared to those here.dnc said:

Thus endeth the (Ohio geography) lesson. -
For what its worth Eklund thinks we are going to flip this kid. Now back to the Midwest Metro Superiority talk.

Not signing anywhere Wednesday. Probably dims our chances slightly
-
I would think that helps our chances. Probably wasn’t to know who our coaches are gonna be before he decides if he wants to come here.bananasnblondes said:Not signing anywhere Wednesday. Probably dims our chances slightly

It doesn’t.

Sounds like he wants to take more visits. Not idealdnc said:

Sounds like a recent article indicates Henry is focusing on a list of schools that does not include Washington
Edit: that report may or may not be bullshit. It was posted by one of the discord mods and then he said he may have made a mistake and UW is still being considered. -
How is he still commited to Michigan? I guess as a fallback option.
-
He gone

We got big dicked by Arizona

He's going to Oklahoma. Free food and free party.insinceredawg said:We got big dicked by Arizona

Biggins just crystoballed him to Arizona. What a weird recruitment.
-
Wow and not USC.
-
He came to UW to sign on early signing day and was like "uhhhhh..... I think I'm gonna check out a few more places"

From 247
"As was expediently reported by 247Sports' Brandon Drumm, Henry's decision to depart the program stemmed from a flat refusal to submit to disciplinary action, and he was quickly removed from the team's online roster."
"Meanwhile, Henry didn't even suit up for any of the Sooners' 11 games prior to his departure." -

Sounds like the kind of kid that might piss his pants on the field. I say we take a look at his interest level.louism2wash said:

Sigh ....getting your child out of South Central is HALF the battle. The other half is getting the South Central out of the child. Parents ...you "know" when your child isn't mature enough to move 1000 miles away and not self-destruct. Please stop doing this.

Why do you say stuff like this? I don’t really want you to answer. I just thought it needed to be said.DawgDaze71 said:Sigh ....getting your child out of South Central is HALF the battle. What do you think Don James approach to recruiting south-central was? He went into Dorsey and another LA schools and he said “get your kid out of this mess and I’ll make sure they’re OK”backthepack said:

I’m not implying that Kevonte is a bad kid. I feel like he and Courtney could form that student mentor relationship that he needs. I feel for all these kids, because homesickness is a real thing. Where Henry end of next is critical for his future.
