Cleary some greasy Slav in Bulgaria (shout out @CFetters_Nacho_Lover ) made this play list.
Top 100 Vietnam War Songs? A quick skim reveals some of the following...
Sweet Home Alabama
La Grange - ZZ Top
I Wonder Why - Dion and The Belmonts
You Never Can Tell - Chuck Berry
None have a damn thing to do with Vietnam -
Currently playing. Disagree.YellowSnow said:Cleary some greasy Slav in Bulgaria (shout out @CFetters_Nacho_Lover ) made this play list.

Not a single lyrics in the song refers to war or Vietnam. It was recorded in June 1973 and the Paris Peace Accords (ending direct US involvement) were signed in Jan 1973.
Maybe - and this is huge stretch - that the reference to Watergate not bothering Ronnie is a very subtle connection- i.e., Watergate and the Pentagon Papers. But still, there's about a gazillion songs out there that are more Vietnam than Sweet Home Alabama. -
I'm not taking it that literal. I see it as a reminiscing.YellowSnow said:

I will, of course, agree that the 1st era of Classic Rock - which is basically 1965- 72 and syncs with direct US Involvement in the War - is the greatest. I love 50's rock, the punk era and grunge, but nothing can touch the 60's and early 70s. -
Looks like a decent playlist at first scan.
I think CCR made the two best or maybe just two of the best anti Vietnam songs. First song on the list obviously, but Run Through The Jungle is just as good...better I think. -
CCR is obviously great. Assuming you are referring to Fortunate Son as the other song?chuck said:Looks like a decent playlist at first scan.

I'm partial to CSNY Ohio. 1a/1b with Fortunate Son for me.
