Washington was amazing," said Lyons. "My family was with the entire coaching staff for most of the day, but when we arrived for the first time at the facilities, every coach on staff, from coach (Jimmy) Lake down was there waiting for me and went crazy when I opened the door. This was the best welcome I’ve received on a visit and it really was such a cool experience. Coach (Derham) Cato is an awesome guy and I could see him as a future coach for sure. I loved the campus life at Washington and the city of Seattle is so beautiful. I really enjoyed it and it was definitely one of my favorite visits."

"I’d say Washington, UCLA, USC, Ohio State, Texas, Oregon, Miami, Alabama and Stanford are recruiting me the hardest," said Lyons. "My best relationships are with coach Cato and Coach Lake from Washington, coach (Derek) Sage from UCLA, coach (Seth) Doege and coach (Clay) Helton from USC, coach (Morgan) Turner from Stanford, coach (Ken) Wilson from Ohio State, coach (Jeff) Banks from Texas, and coach (Steve) Clark from BYU and coach Woodiel and Williams from Oregon."

"I don’t have a top five list right now, but I have an idea in my head of like 10 schools that I’m the most interested in," said Lyons. "As far as committing goes, I’m pretty sure I want to commit some time after my junior season, anywhere from December-May."
