Don James tried that once against the Cougs. Chris Chandler was under center, then stood up and started walking toward the sideline with his arms out like he was confused. The WSU defenders stood up and relaxed. The center was supposed to then snap the ball to the running back, but for some reason he never snapped it.

The Rams did this with Warner at QB and Faulk getting the direct snap.

It was a masterful game plan by DeBeers. Coug defense was left to guess all night. And most times guessed wrong. That play was the epitome.
