Sirmon and Covington would have been substantial improvements and Bynum was a very solid reciever even if that means he would have been our 3rd or 4th off the bench this year

Didn’t Covington transfer out after Spring? If that’s the case he couldn’t beat out the dreckfest we had.

It can be inferred based on practice reports that he was running behind Perryman and Michele... possibly Banks in spring. All the players who transferred out other than Puka basically seemed like they either went to lateral moves where they would have played more at UW or dropped way down and didn't do much. Ty Jones is weird. He certainly wasn't a star but he was decent so it's odd he does next to nothing at a lower level.

Ultimately a blessing to have Polk emerge as the number 3 and get him ready to step up without Rome. Bynum would have been good for us, but it worked out.bananasnblondes said:
