Except that would be a lie. The vast majority have no idea how the real world works and they live on feelings. Rational thought is outside their ability. Try asking them how a cloth or paper mask keeps out an aerosolized virus particle. Ask them why the got the vaxx? Ask them if they are going to pay our debt when they won't pay their debt? The policies they support make them feel better about themselves. It doesn't matter if they actually work or even if they make the problems worse, they just know that they're not one of those evil mean Republicans when they support defunding the police and getting rid of cash bail, and not prosecuting crime.
