I was in the beautiful CR gorge yesterday and saw multiple rigs and their pilot vehicles hauling all of the components for a windmill. Couldn't help but think about the carbon footprint left behind just to get that thing to the site. Not to mention what was required to construct that thing from beginning to end.

First to fall over when the atmosphere is less than perfect
Your sensibilities are shaken by the slightest defect
You live you life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line

You say you want to spend the winter in Firenza
You're so afraid to catch a dose of influenza
You live your life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line

    Canary in a coalmine
    Canary in a coalmine
    Canary in a coalmine

Endangered birds. They'd put you or me in prison for killing an endangered bird but killing them by the many thousands is OK if you're green!

Know of a situation with an drilling rig in ND where they found a dead duck in the pond nearby. They had to shut the rig down to investigate how the duck died. I shit you not. One Duck.
