Finally:
Bundy skinnies through a 12"x12" hole in Glenwood Springs jail cell and hustles out into the night. Finds keys in a rundown MG he drives to outskirts of Vail. The clutch fried, he pushes it off to the side of I70 with the help of a serviceman who delivers him to the Vail Holiday Inn just in time for Bundy to board a Denver bound bus. In Denver, he just makes a TWA Chicago bound flight. In Chicago, he hops an Amtrak and is on cocktail two by the time the Colorado jailers realize they've been boned and Bundy is gone. A night in the Ann Harbor Y, he wakes up refreshed, finds a bar near campus where he roots on his Dawgs as they stun the Wolverines in the first half. Bundy, incarcerated for two years, is so drunk he wretches in the bathroom at halftime until a bouncer 86's him. Another stolen car, he makes it to Atlanta, then boards a Trailways bus bound for Tallahassee.....the Chi O. girls didn't know what hit them...
