If the polling is accurate, and only 5% of the public thinks that abortion is the top issue in this election, then the Rats will have pissed away a ton of money on ads that do not speak to the biggest issues in this election. Crime, the economy/inflation and immigration is what the public is telling pollsters are their top issues. None of those issues help the Rats.

Legal abortion isn't under any threat in the state of Washington. The only people who are going to motivated to vote on that issue were already going to vote for Murray. I’ll still be voting for Smiley but it’s the suburban housewives that have been led astray by the abortion issue.
