If DeBoner still thinks the kids are playing hard, then he definitely needs to go. Running around in circles and flailing your arms, then looking at each other like “what happened there?” after every play isn’t playing hard.
It’s being a bunch of soft, weak and slow dumbasses who don’t belong on a football field, coached by a bunch of soft, weak and slow dumbasses who don’t belong on the sidelines. -
I don’t have a lot of track record with Deboer, but he looked royally pissed as the 4th q went on. If he thought the effort was there, I don’t think that happens…

That MSU QB who sucked had a QBR of 76.2 against UW while averaging 47.3 in the other 5 games. Passed for 323 against UW, his next highest is 233 against Western Michigan
