If I were to want an old fashioned but it's like 78 degrees and I'm sitting outside what's an alternative

I never know what cocktails to get when it's hot out that isn't absurdly sweet

Like I can make my own legit tom Collins but I don't trust a bar to do it.

I used to enjoy Modelo Negra until my buddy said it tastes like soy sauce

    It fucking does. Yuck

    I'm usually a Sol man.

Good lovin' I got a truckload.

    Pacifico > Sol > Tecate > Modelo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You can never go wrong with a White Claw. Of all people, you should know this.

Whiskey sour is my go to in the heat. Hard to fuckup as well.

Manhattan could work at a higher end joint.

If it's a real dive that's going to make a "whiskey sour" with margarita mix then Lynchburg lemonade. Whiskey and lemonade is hard for even a dive to fuck up. Can fancy it up yourself by ordering a sidecar of grande Marnier if so inclined.

I like a sour with an amaretto float. That's something I like to drink.
