It's not Emmert's job to oversee the football program or any other program inthe athletic department.
It's Emmert's job to monitor the job performance of Todd Turner.
The hire isn't Emmert's responsibility.
It's Emmert's responsibility to hold Turner accountable for the hire.
Prior to the decision to fire Tyrone after 2007, it's really hard to argue withANYTHING that Emmert had done with respect to the football program.
