I’d love a head coach that when asked the injury status of a player, ALWAYS responded,“Day to day.”

I’d love a head coach that when asked the injury status of his starting quarterback, doesn't know who they're talking about.

I want a coach brought in to clean things up, but prefers to spend most of his time working on his golf game.

    Throw in closed practices . . .
I like a HC who recognizes a mark.

That Meat was going to be Sark? You probably just have to go back 10 or 20 pages on this bored.

I'll vouch that Haie was very anti-meathead

No comparison between Ballz and Sark.

Ballz worked his arse off 24X7; recruited like a MoFo; 3-0 vs. UW; Rose Bowl victory 2019.

Sark? @ UW; tore up Cal’s recruiting class to poach Lupoi (and Wilcox from TN) after dumping his DC (Holt) that he brought from SC.

Sark was a big talker; loved to recruit the splashy stars (not so much the beef on the lines) . . . akin to Neuheisel.

Game day coaching? Meat was average, at best. Can’t speak for Sark

How many times did Sark beat the Ducks while he was HC at Warshington? As Race would say, “Zero.” Rose Bowls? “Zero.”

What was Sark doing while coaching at Warshington? Drinking and chasing skirts with his frat brothers.

Thank God, Pat Haden relieved Warshington from eventually firing Sark and having to go through that messy divorce thingy and rehab with him.

    Haie is anti-Duck on everything.

Meat @ Oregon > Sark’s time at Warshington.

Both have moved on to Big Time college football, accompanied by Big Time expectations.

They both have fan bases that CARE a lot, particularly Texas.

Miami is trying to turn back time; similar to the Huskies.

Mario had been a head coach for 7 years. Lanning, like Sark, was an assistant on a great team

I'm old enough to remember when you guys loved Mario and defended his shitty record at FAU. More of a Ty thing IMO

    Now you all @haie him

Ohio State win is his and shows he's a pretty good coach overall. Despite his team slowly getting worse the rest of the season.

You can't convince me he didn't simply time it right getting a senior laden team left by Helfrich and Taggert in 2019 plus homegrown qb Oregon won't be lucking into again. Outside of the ASU game everything broke his teams way via turnovers. He got even luckier in 2020 with a team that looked like 7 wins in a normal season.

In 2018 when he actually needed to be a good coach he choked. Got lucky with the Petersen shit to even be in contention that year.

His Oregon teams get up and look great against the good teams/rivalry games but look disinterested when they play Cal, Stanford, and WSU.

He's somewhere around UW/burnout Petersen. Like a B- type of coach.

Don’t think anyone hates him. He’s a good dude and I liked him as coach. But he’s never going to lead a program to the promised land with his stale brand of offense. And by his last year I was legit changing the channel to other games when we had the ball because watching his offensive gameplan made me want to commit seppuku
