Krugman on the "benefits" of the Let's Increase Inflation Bill

So, it's not and never was an inflation reduction bill. It's a gift to the chicoms and the American grifters in the solar and wind industries. Krugman thinks that combined with the dementia patient's attack on the American fossil fuel industry that their is a huge benefit to the US from solar renewables, wind turbines and EVs. That's just a lie. You spend hundreds of billions and you benefit someone. In this case the chicoms who make the solar panels and wind turbines and all the required minerals that they have world control over along with the US corporate crony renewable capitalists. Who you don't benefit is the American consumer who will face dramatically higher energy prices and less reliability (see California and Germany). That's just the actual hard fact.

And Krugman believes that the US spending hundreds of billions of dollars in feel good virtue signaling is going to give the US credibility and that will lead a global effort to limit gas emissions. What phucking planet does the Moron with a Nobel Prize live on? You think that crippling the US economy is going to make the chicoms and Indians cut back on CO2 emissions, like they give a damn about us? If Krugman could give a sh*t about the US economy, you think the chicoms are going to have a come to Jesus moment and shut down their massively increasing coal plant production? Then toss in the economic benefit of 87,000 more fascist IRS agents and their attack on the US small business sector is a "benefit". Then the piece de resistance an increase in the corporate minimum tax which will just add additional cost pressures on the price of American services and products.
