This position is beyond ridiculous. It stems from the same line of thinking that led the Pac-12 to cancel the 2020 season while the SEC and Big 10 kept playing. -

I say this as an alumnus, UW is part of the problem. Woke as hell, starting at the top. I feel very lucky to have gone during the era I did, it was still essentially a meritocracy in academics and sports. The football program at that time generated more revenue than the Seahawks, and most of us laughed our asses off at the left wing fringe elements there at the time.
