Twilight Zone occurrence when Boobs is talking me off a pessimistic ledge.

The panic from @Auburndawg was even more reassuring, but I'll take the FREE PUB!Gladstone said:Twilight Zone occurrence when Boobs is talking me off a pessimistic ledge.

@6wins we're playing with house money in Peterman's first yearRoadDawg55 said:10 wins or gtfo is exactly right. I know we will play better than we did tonight (it's not possible to be worse), but it was a fucking dreckfest. It wasn't a 14 point sloppy win, it was a game we should have lost by 2 scores if Hawaii was not coached by Norm Chow.

I think it was Sark last night wearing a Petersen mask

Interesting thread. I'm not sure I really agree with any of you. I watched most of the first half, and part of the second half (the LSU game was awesome by the way - eye test passed). The result could have been much different if Hawaii had a head coach, but they don't and we won. Enough said on that. HOWEVER...there were plenty of warning signs that this team is nowhere near ready to compete with elite teams this year. Luckily, we play in the Pac-12.
I've never been the type to judge a coach quickly. Petersen gets his time. We will see how we improve over the course of the season, but this game illustrated just how far we have to go. I still think 10 games is a fair expectation, if Petersen is who we thought he is.
