It is not fucking rocket surgery. People are not getting sucked into hype of our legendary Penix when they've seen the lengthy history of falling limp short of the finish line.
You cannot count on Penix staying upright so anything that comes from his time inside a UW uniform is just a bone-us. I firmly believe he could be great, but I have a hard time envisioning our Penix taking a pounding or scoring very much, let alone setting any records slinging those balls at willing receivers. Although maybe we could bring back the special ugly unis for one gayme - all black jersey and pants (to look larger, naturally). But imagine our larger than life black Penix, topped with that enormous purple helmet glistening in the crisp autumn air.
Either way we? are fucked.
