JHB is a moderate Republican. AKA RINO in the eyes of many. Kent might very well primary her. But in the general he’ll be seen as an Ultra MAGA and would not do as well against a moderate dem as JHB would. The 3rd is not reliably red. -

I’ve personally flipped all my JHB supporting family members in WA-03 and it took about 10 minutes.

It went for Obama in 2008. Brian Baird was before JHB. There is a slight republican lean. My point is it's not a slam dunk for the GOP and someone on the extreme right may have trouble in the general. Don't take it for granted.BleachedAnusDawg said:

****** is right about the 3rd. Both my two dads were politically involved growing up there. Overall purple.
Now if he does win, it will for sure be an indicator of overall sentiment.
I also am telling anyone who will listen re Joe Kent. Flipped a few.
