Japan boasts a population of more than 127 million people, yet finished 2019 with a gun death rate of only .02 per 100,000 people. One major factor in this success is that Japan has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world. For Japanese citizens to purchase a gun, they must attend an all-day class, pass a written exam, and complete a shooting range test, scoring at least 95% accuracy. Candidates will also receive a mental health evaluation, performed at a hospital, and will have a comprehensive background check done by the government. Only shotguns and rifles can be purchased. The class and exam must be retaken every three years.

    Poor bastards.

What are they missing that the USA has? I can’t put my finger on it….

    guns
I'm going to need to see gun death rate of Japanese Americans here.

Something never said in Japan "Diversity is our strength".
I bet if you’re a diagnosed schizophrenic in Japan and you won’t take your meds, it’s off to the crazy house.

But in the US liberals ended that that because schizophrenics are people too! So now they run the streets and sometimes get their hands on guns.

So the logical thing to do it take away the guns.

    Fuck off, Dazzler.
    That's all Reagan's fault.
    Locked in as policy forever

    Like Trump and Afghanistan
It was Kennedy who closed the mental hospitals. But still.

I've noticed once Reagan did something it's irreversible. He gutted the middle class and we have been stuck with "trickle down" economics for 45 years.

Swedes and the Amish aren't much of a problem in the US either. You think the dazzler gives a sh*t about US gun deaths? Giuliani showed how to reduce gun deaths and the dazzler and his fellow leftards hates him with a white hot heat. The dazzler doesn't want Americans to defend themselves. That's it.

The 4.4 million or so Americans with Swedish origins are considerably richer than average Americans, as are other immigrant groups from Scandinavia. If Americans with Swedish ancestry were to form their own country, their per capita GDP would be $56,900, more than $10,000 above the income of the average American. This is also far above Swedish GDP per capita, at $36,600. Swedes living in the USA are thus approximately 53 per cent more wealthy than Swedes (excluding immigrants) in their native country (OECD, 2009; US Census database). It should be noted that those Swedes who migrated to the USA, predominately in the nineteenth century, were anything but the elite. Rather, it was often those escaping poverty and famine. …A Scandinavian economist once said to Milton Friedman, ‘In Scandinavia, we have no poverty’. Milton Friedman replied, ‘That’s interesting, because in America, among Scandinavians, we have no poverty, either’. Indeed, the poverty rate for Americans with Swedish ancestry is only 6.7 per cent: half the US average (US Census).

You're such a racist. None of your examples have to deal with having dark skin.

Dazzler's lack of a response says it all. He's a gun grabber from jumpstreet.

As I have stated several times we have 95% less mental health bed space in the US than we did prior to the "no one is really crazy" rule. I can tell you there is a shitload of crazy out there.

On a side note, Trump issued his statement 10-12 hours before Biden did.

True. We used to incarcerate a lot of the crazy people out there now. We were using our jails as loony bins.

The shooter had two more homemade shotguns at home the 9 barreled one in the pic and a 12 barrel. Made his own gunpowder too.

Japan doesn’t have rampant welfare and drug abuse. They also don’t allow you to sleep in a tent nor a field. They actually require you to work or they put you In a stall with maybe 1 hot and an uncomfortable cot.

Oh. And they don’t have black neighborhoods either. So they really don’t have any reason for citizens to have guns.

I just saw footage of the assassination, and I was shocked that he didn't have much security around him. But I guess in Japan there's a different expectation than in America.

In China they are reportedly celebrating this assassination. Abe had been telling China to stay out of Taiwan.
