Why gun violence happens according to the NYTimes

Exclusionary housing policies and discrimination have pushed Black Americans into segregated neighborhoods. Both governments and the private sector then neglected these neighborhoods, leaving people without good schools, banks, grocery stores and institutions. This kind of economic neglect, which experts refer to as disinvestment, fosters violence. These maps show the correlation in Chicago between shootings and a lack of banks.

Now do the correlation between shootings and single parent households. Like the Dazzler, the left would rather chew off their own peckers before they every admit that single parent households are a far greater predictor of poverty and violence than race, or public spending or segregated schools ever where or are.

Well then put a bank on every corner and gun violence is solved. Thank you NYT for solving this problem. It's not guns.

Exactly how brainless leftards "think". People who marry, work and save buy homes and are successful citizens. Ergo, give people who don't marry, don't work, and don't save a home and they will be successful citizens. I know this is a shocking truth, but banks go where the money is. I'm guessing that the large majority of new mortgages are not generated by a visit to the bank. Done on line or on the phone. Closing can be done at your home or you work as they send out a notary with the paperwork and a USB drive with a copy of the legal work. I do all my banking online, why would I go to the branch?

You’re showing your WHITE privilege. You have a job and a computer. You don’t understand life without them.

Imagine never even trying to work as you're family has subsisted on government handouts for generations. This is where Dim policies have taken all shitty neighborhoods of all colors. There are those that work and get out and those that repeat the cycle.

It's parenting. We need parents. Plural. We need morals as well. Both sadly lacking in these situations.

I get your point and I agree with it but even if you're a person who does work and wants to work doing so and trying to raise your family as a single parent is really fucking tough.

My wife was a pharmaceutical rep and would have to travel for a few days or even a week for training and I would be a single parent for 5 days for a three and four year old. After a week of that I was exhausted. I can't imagine a lifetime of that.

But why do they have low gun violence in Japan? It's their gun laws of course.

Gun control to the Left means that the Gov't controls the guns. This has always been the endgame. Dazzler likes to pretend he's not part of the Left on this one but he is.
