Oregon won’t even be the whitest state in the BIG let alone the US.1to392831weretaken said:
If more SEC football fans made it past the fourth grade and had a better understanding of actual history, Oregon would have been invited to the SEC decades ago. I don't know if Oregon is the whitest state in the country, but it's gotta be close. And, historically speaking, deliberately so.RatherBeBrewing said:

I said if it's not, it's close (which was intentional hyperbole anyway). Point is, 86.2% white is pretty damned white, particularly in a state with a population that's dominated by a largish city (47% of the state's population in the Portland metro) that skews much more diverse, and there's a rich history of racism that goes a long way toward explaining this.

To the Big 10??

Of course, SEC country is far from being super white. So what are we talking about again?1to392831weretaken said:I said if it's not, it's close (which was intentional hyperbole anyway).
