Big get. Not the most explosive DE and he doesn’t make a ton of plays on his Hudl. This is great tho. We finally got a guy big schools wanted.

And? He’s not very quick twitch and didn’t have any big hits. He wasn’t blowing past the tackle. I think he can be good. I was pumped when I saw he committed. I’m still happy. I did expect more on film tho.backthepack said:

3 things I love about him:
1) Great size -big human.
2) Instincts/Reads
3) Hand use/outside leverage
He’s awful large to tell if he’s what we’d consider fast. Seems like a kid who may really grow in the program. He’s obviously not gonna stay at 250 either. For a strong side end he’s a great prospect. -
If he has a big senior year the chances of us holding onto this commitment are slim. Still, it's good optics and much needed momentum going into the big recruiting weekend.
